algorithms, etc.), even a diagram showing how to tie a bow-tie!)

Physicians Guide to Rare Diseases.

- A handbook covering diseases affecting fewer than 200,000 Americans. Each article
provides a synopsis of the disease providing a general description, signs & symptoms,
etiology, epidemiology, related disorders, treatments (standard & investigational),
resources, and references.
Current Surgical Diagnosis and Treatment.
- A reference book about diseases managed by surgeons. It includes
diagnosis, disease processes, and treatment. Other aspects such as
epidemiology and pathology are covered selectively. Information is
also provided on such topics as: preparation for surgery,
postoperative care, surgical complications, wound healing,
inflammation, fluids & electrolytes, and nutrition.

Genes and Disease.
- Genes and Disease is a collection of articles that discuss genes
and the diseases that they cause. These genetic disorders are
organized by the parts of the body that they affect. As some
diseases affect various body systems, they appear in more than one
chapter.

discussed, along with clinical features and links to key websites.
